How does the custom hat bar work?

When making a custom hat with us, we will help you choose your hat that best fits your style. Once your hat is chosen, you will be asked to pick your accessories (cards, feathers, etc.) Once you have your fun items picked, our hat stylists will assemble your hat using their expertise!

What is the price range for the hats?

Our cowboy & flat brim style hats currently range from $85-$180. We highly believe that the quality of your hat should be no less than exceptional. All our hats are either made with a beaver blend, wool or felt - made in Texas or California. A fully customized hat (on average) ranges from $200-$400 depending on how much you add to it or customize it! Our trucker hats start at $20+.

Do you take walk-ins?

Yes! Walk-ins are welcome but booking an appointment is highly suggested to ensure we can get you in and there will be no wait!

How much are your accessories? What is the price range?

Our accessories range and menu items range from $2- $125.

What kind of accessories do you have to customize the hats?

We have thousands of accessories such as playing cards, feathers, vintage matchboxes, matches, ribbons, rhinestones, chains, suede, leather, denim, bullet shells, poker chips - and more! The possibilities are endless.

Is shaping my hat an option?

Yes! We offer shaping in store.

Can I book a private party?

Yes! For private parties and availability please email info@featheredroots.com with the date, time, location and how many people.

Can I make a virtual appointment?

Yes! To make a virtual appointment with us, please book an appointment as you would normally and add "virtual" & the best phone number to call in the notes.

Can you ship my hat once I have made it in store?

Yes! Traveling and don't want to deal with the headache of carrying it around? We can ship your hat to you within 2-5 business days!

Do you offer freehand branding on the hats? Is that an option?

Yes! Unlike some other hat bars, our stylist is trained to "freestyle" any saying, personal branding, art, etc. into your hat. 

Do you carry kids hats?

As of now we are currently focusing on the customizations of adult hats only, but do have some hats that will fit juniors.

Can I bring my own hat to customize in store?

No, unfortunately we only customize the hats that we carry in store for liability purposes.

Do you do online orders? 

Yes, we do online orders and ship to you, our turn-around time depends on availability and current events. Our typical turn-around time is 2-3 weeks at most. 

Can I pick up a custom hat order after styling?

Yes! If you wish to create your custom hat and pick up, we will take your order and you will receive a text message when your hat is ready!

Are you open every day?

We are closed on Sundays & Mondays, our store is open Tuesday - Saturday, however, the hat bar hours vary each week depending on appointments and events. Our hours are posted weekly on our Facebook & Instagram accounts.

Do you travel for hat bar events?

Yes, we require at minimum 2 weeks in advance for events and a deposit of $500 that is non-refundable. For out of state or specialty events, please give us a call or send us a message.

Do you do pop-ups and other corporate events?

Yes, we do pop ups and local events regularly. We do festivals, boutique and store pop-ups, corporate events and more! If you are interested in having Feathered-Roots Hat Bar or Trucker Hat Bar at your event, please email info@featheredroots.com for inquiries.
